Power Centre was started in 1972 by Mr. K.R. Ramachandran, an engineer educated in London. Upon his return to India, he witnessed the growing wave of industrialization and recognised that reliable backup power was critical to the city’s growth.
Power Centre became a pioneer in many ways, bringing diesel generators not only to Chennai but also across other regions. In the 1980s, Power Centre commenced the building of acoustic enclosures to reduce sound pollution long before it was made mandatory by the government.
Today, more than 50 years later, the core principles, ethics, and values on which the company was built remain unchanged. Special Services
Power Centre Services provides dedicated Service support for your special occasions by posting a trained genset service technician at your location for a full day or half day, as required. The fees for this will be calculated based on a full day rate of INR 1500.
